How to Guarantee a Smile

LOOK AT THIS SWEET FACE!

I have had the incredible blessing of working with this family for several years now and continue to be amazed by their beautiful daughters with every session. They are so natural in front of a camera and a true joy to work with (the parents are so bad either! :) We tried this hat several times and the baby would have nothing to do with it - immediately pulling it off and snacking on it most times. Then, she finally relented and we're all SO glad she did! How could you NOT smile looking at this sweet face? Patience pays off!

Good Wrinkles

Wrinkles usually have a negative connotation, but not in this case. This sweet boy was celebrating his one week birthday and I feel blessed I was there to capture it. Happy Birthday, B!

The bliss of the unexpected

My favorite shots seem to be the ones that are not planned. No matter how much I prepare for a session, I always end up being surprised by the unexpected. Earlier this week I was setting up for a session and needed my oldest son to be a test subject with a new lighting technique. Reluctantly, he agreed. I couldn't believe just how big he looked once I studied the end result. My how time flies and how sweet are the surprises along the way!

Promotional Special!

Since I have these new, amazing canvas wall portraits hanging in my studio, I am inspired daily. There is something about a beautiful piece of art that brings an unexplained joy to my soul. I would love for each of my clients to experience this feeling, so I am offering $50 off of canvases on stretcher frames for a limited time only. This can apply to portraits we have done in the past or for new portraits in the next month or two. One thing I loved most about receiving my portraits were that I literally pulled them out of the box and hung them immediately. No framing, No hardware required. Don't let your prints sit around until you can frame them - order these and there are no worries and no extra cost! Pure bliss in my book.

Jamie
